Crochet has been my first love ever since my childhood.
I have fresh memories of my childhood, barely 11 years old, trying to learn the twining of the yarn between my fingers and the hook. My neighborhood aunt took pains to teach me the basic few stitches in Crochet.
My first project was a granny square. that small piece of granny square was an inspiration for me.
All these years, I was busy with my studies but whenever i got to see a crochet hook, it stirred me to do something..though it would never end up into something potential.. :p. This timely interventions of a hook and yarn kept me upfront with the basic skills of crochet.
Now, when i have got all the time in this world, how would i not love my First love..(Laughs)!!
I am used to trying the various patterns and techniques in crochet which have helped me create some of my creations.
I would be happy displaying some of the projects which i have already completed. These include some baby booties, handbags, crochet edgings, curtain clasps and few doilies.
My First crochet project was baby booties. I tried following the instructions on the pattern and voila!!..it turned out to be success.
A muslim kufi cap for my dear husband for his daily prayers. I was filled with spiritual satiation when i completed this project. This was my first order placed on one of my shops in Craftsvilla.com. Yippeee!!
My best creation so far - Valentine booties. Each yarn in this item was entwined with love and affection. What else would have been a perfect gift for a lovely niece. Love her to the core!!
Lacy Lettuce bag - as it was named in the pattern. It took much time for me to create this product. But the outcome of it immensely made me happy.
Granny square comes as perfect accompaniment with our home phone.
Perfect green floral booties with an headband. A beautiful adornment for the little diva. This is being displayed on Craftsvilla.com.
Crochet edgings and trimmings give a total uplift to any garment or accessory. The black trimmings for my table runner.
This is an Sewing and crochet combo project. The lace on top of the bag is made out of black cotton yarn. The box-pleated animal print fabric and the beads smoothen out the whole look of this bag.
There are few unfinished project still going on. Hoping to update them as well in few days.
Stay healthy. Keep blogging!!
